A good quality full exhaust system, brand new, made in the UK. Comes complete with fitting kit. Please make sure your model matches the description as there are many different exhaust systems and sections which all vary depending on the engine, year and wheelbase.
Suitable for the following Trafic models:
1.6 (1647cc) Petrol 1984 - 1986 (Short wheel base models only)
To determine if you have a short wheel base (SWB) or long wheel base (LWB) vehicle you can measure from the centre of a front wheel to the centre of a rear wheel. The measurements will be either:
LWB - 322cm
This system comprises the following sections:
Front downpipe
Middle silencer
Rear pipe
Backbox
Also included is a fitting kit comprising:
x3 Clamps
x1 Bobbin Mount (supports the front of the downpipe)
x3 Rubber ring hangers
x3 Wire hanger clips (these clip into the chassis to support the rubber hangers)
x1 Backbox hanger (round type)
Please note: The front downpipe and centre silencer are the original and correct parts for the 1.6 system, however the rear pipe for the 1.6 models is no longer produced, so we have put this kit together using the rear pipe from the 1.7 system instead which is almost identical. The only difference in that pipe is a slight increase in bore diameter. Because of this the backbox included with this kit is also from the 1.7 system in order to fit the rear pipe.
What this means is that when fitted as a whole kit this system will fit all 1.6 models, but if, for example, you keep your existing backbox then this will not fit this system. You must fit the whole kit.
If your existing rear pipe and backbox are good then we also have the front downpipe and centre silencer available seperately if required. Conversely, if you only require a rear pipe and backbox then you can fit the 1.7 type which will fit onto your existing centre silencer as normal.
