What information do we collect and why
In order to process your order we require information about you such as your Name, Address, Email and Phone number. These are required for invoicing, delivery and record keeping purposes (we keep records of all invoices for up to 7 years as recommended by HMRC guidelines).
When you have placed an order with us some of your information will be provided to the delivery company, this includes your postal address (for obvious reasons) but also your phone number and email address. Most courier companies require a phone number in case they need to contact you regarding the delivery, and to allow you to easily track your order (where applicable).
As part of your order, your payment information also needs to be processed. This may include credit/debit card details, Paypal details, or any other details in connection with other methods of payment. There are a number of ways you can order from us:
- Online purchases – In this instance your information will be processed in accordance with the privacy policy of the partner we use to provide online sales. This will be either: eBay or Shopify (the latter manages all payments via this website). Here are links to their respective privacy policies:
- Phone orders – If you place an order with us over the phone then your credit/debit card details will be processed through Paypal (they provide the facility for us to take card payments over the phone). You can view the Paypal Privacy Policy here. (This is also applicable to all orders made using Paypal)
- Email/mail order – We will only ask for the minimum information required to process orders of this nature. As before, any Paypal payments will be subject to the privacy policy of Paypal. All details relating to any BACS payments will be destroyed once the transaction is complete. (The only reference that will remain is the entry on our bank statement)
We also use cookies to improve your shopping experience (they are needed for things like setting up an online account and remembering your login username, for example). If you order through eBay then their cookie policy will apply. This can be viewed here. (We are not responsible for any cookies which eBay use).
